Late Arrivals, Cancellations & No Shows

Please be on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to accommodate your full session, and you will be charged for the full appointment time scheduled.

Cancellations & No Shows

  • Cancellation Policy: A minimum 72 hours notice ( 3-day) is preferred for cancellations, as it provides time for us to attempt to fill the vacant appointment time in my schedule, and clients to plan hair growth for removal.

  • Failure to cancel more than 24 hours in advance, or if a client does not show for a scheduled appointment; will result in client being required to pay for the missed appointment in full. Habitual cancelations will pay for services in advance, or will not be allowed to book future appointments, and all upcoming appointments will be cancelled.

  • Additionally, if a client fails to show, and or cancels with less than 24 hrs notice a second time, the client may not be accepted to book future appointments unless client pays for missed appointment prior to subsequent appointments being scheduled, and pays in advance for new appointment.

    New Client Appointments

  • Any new client to our clinic must schedule a “New Client” Consultation appointment, regardless if they have had electrolysis before.

  • New Client appointments must be scheduled in advance, no walk-ins.

  • All New Client appointments are 6o minutes. (30 minutes) FREE consultation, and (30 minutes) PAID Electrolysis treatment /Determine baseline settings and treatment plan.

  • An appointment reservation deposit is required for all new client appointment and is used toward the 30 minute service time following a new client consultation

  • * Clients under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

  • Payments

  • Payment Is Due At The Time of Treatment

  • No service fee incurred by customers using payment methods: Cash, Check, and Venmo

  • We accept and prefer Cash, Check, Venmo, Square and Gloss Genius is accepted using most major credit cards.

  • A 2.6 -3.3%% service fee will be charged on credit card transactions.

  • We share a parking lot with a bank with an ATM for your convenience

  • Referral Rewards

  • Refer a client to Electrology Essentials and receive $10 credit towards an electrolysis session, after they complete their first paid session.

  • Only one discount can be used per treatment session

Client Health History Form

  • We request you complete the HHF prior to your initial new client consultation/first session. We will review your HHF during your new client consultation and it will be updated if any changes occur during your treatment program.

  • If you can’t complete the HHF online before your appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early to give yourself enough time to complete it at the clinic.

  • Privacy

  • All history assessment privacy information is legally protected under HIPPA.

Electrology Treatments

  • Our electrology services are scheduled in 15 minute time increments (15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, etc)

  • Included in your scheduled service time: Mini consultation, probe set up, machine programming, skin assessment, service preparation, post-treatment charting, cataphoresis, basic clean up.

  • We allow for 2-5 min at the end of your treatment to conclude your service, a timer notifies the electrologist from the epilator machine

  • Clients skin is prepped with a hypoallergenic soapless skin cleanser and 70% alcohol prior to treatment

  • Post treatment care of clients skin includes: Witch Hazel or Wintergreen, and Aloe or Yhi-Zhi-Baume specialty product

  • Cataphoresis recommended for: Cooling skin, hydrating, antiseptic, anti- inflammation, vasoconstriction post treatment

  • Cataphoresis is not “required”, and is optional if the client prefers to use the remaining 2-5 minutes for hair removal. Please notify provider if you would like to “opt out” of the cataphoresis post treatment.

  • We allow 15 minutes in between clients for disinfection, sanitation, scheduling appointments, restroom, and taking client payments.

  • This 15 minutes is NOT included in the paid service for the client, and will not be used for any part of the client service, including cataphoresis.

Covid-19 Safety Precautions

  • To ensure our clients are kept safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, you will be asked questions of how you are feeling and if you have been exposed to an infected person, temperature is taken, hands washed/ sanitized, and masks will be worn by both you and I (unless not possible for treatment area)

  • I have completed the Barbecide Covid-19 Certification and Barbecide Safety & Sanitation training courses, and use these methods to ensure I am providing the safest treatment environment possible.
